The Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) is the first global event of the annual League of Legends competition.   The Mid-Season Invitational can evaluate the strength of teams in each division in the middle of the season.

12 teams from 9 regions will compete for the title of Mid-Season Invitational.

This event is held in different city every year.   This year’s mid-season championship is held in Chengdu, China, and the competition venue is the Chengdu Financial City Performing Arts Center.
